∙ The Blackening won Best Album honors at the 2007 year’s Kerrang! Awards and was later named Metal Hammer’s Album of the Decade.
∙ “Aesthetics of Hate,” the first single off The Blackening, earned the group a Grammy Award nomination for Best Metal Performance.
∙ The band’s highest-charting album to date, Bloodstone & Diamonds, debuted at No. 21 on the Billboard 200 upon its release in 2014.
∙ In 2019, Flynn enlisted former members Logan Mader and Chris Kontos to join him for a tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of Machine Head’s seminal Burn My Eyes.
