Biografia wykonawcy
Next-generation R&B singer Madison Beer, born in 1999, launched her career on YouTube. As a young teen, she became known for recording and sharing covers of her favorite artists, like Bruno Mars and Adele. When pop superstar Justin Bieber discovered her buoyant version of Etta James’ “At Last”—which Beer recorded when she was just 13—the world took notice, and Bieber quickly signed the young belter to Island Records. Bieber appeared in the video for Beer’s 2013 debut single, the anthemic “Melodies,” and in the ensuing years she went on to collaborate with some of pop and hip-hop's biggest names, including K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE, genre-bending duo Jack & Jack, and Migos member Offset. On her 2018 debut EP, As She Pleases, Beer proved her versatility on tracks like the retro-tinged “Teenager in Love” and the jittery “Say It to My Face”; soon after, she went on her first headlining tour and made her inaugural appearance at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. Beer landed at Epic Records in 2019, and during 2020 she released singles in the run-up to her first full-length album, with the glitchy “Baby,” the haunting ballad “Selfish,” and the sweeping “Good in Goodbye” hinting at what the future might bring for one of the brightest stars of modern teen pop.
