In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At an early age I used to go to church rehearsal with my dad in this small Iowa town. I would play under the pews and listen to the choir sing. I could always pick out my dad's beautiful baritone voice as it reverberated through the sanctuary.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bobby McFerrin, Yo-Yo Ma, Hush (Remastered) Simon & Garfunkel, Bookends The Replacements, All Shook Down I always come back to these albums, as being music that sent me to a different place, and continues to do so. I learned that (as an opera singer), you can do so much more that only singing in one style. These are desert Island Albums.

Tell us why you chose this song. “If I Loved You (from "Carousel")” This is the song/performance that people keep playing over the years. Arranged by Frank McNamara the power song from Carousel shows off my voice and what it was capable of, early in my career. The key change at the end is just mind-blowing!
