Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was around 10, my dad gave me a little mandolin to screw around with. I tuned it up to what I thought sounded good, and basically structured my own little tab system before I knew about any of that junk
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alex G, Beach Music Aphex Twin, Drukqs my bloody valentine, m b v Drukqs is the absolute most textured, polished, and beautiful album of all time. Second only to either another Aphex Twin album, or m b v by MBV. As for Beach Music, that album (and many others of his) got me through some very tough teenage years.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Same Same” I love this song the most out of mine, because it has my best guitar work, drum work, possibly my best bass line, and the most meaningful lyrics to me I've written so far. I also enjoy the math-y bits like the time signatures between verses/choruses.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Finishing and posting my first album, and then seeing the traction it gained in only a few months, with virtually no advertising.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to get to a point where I can hole up in my studio forever and just make art and music. I don't really even want to do shows, even though I'll probably have to at first.
