Pianist Pierre Solot lists his occupations as "pianist, lecturer, radio host, teacher, actor, and author." He is also a theatrical designer, producer, musicologist, and composer. Within the musical realm, Solot's activities are varied; he plays solo recitals, often appears as an orchestral soloist, and is a chamber musician as one half of the Duo Solot with pianist Stéphanie Salmin. As part of that duo, he released his debut recording, featuring four-hand piano versions of music by Smetana and Dvořák, in 2016. He has made several albums, including Ernesto Lecuona: Piano Music, which appeared in 2024.
