Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a kid taking piano at the Malvern School of Music, I watched my teacher Dino turn melodies I described into written music instantly, then play them beautifully. It was my first glimpse of how music moves from imagination to reality.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Creedence Clearwater Revival, Best of Creedence Clearwater Revival (Deluxe Version) Deluxe Lenka, Lenka (Expanded Edition) Pet Shop Boys, Essential Pet Shop Boys - CCR showed the power of raw, honest songwriting. The Pet Shop Boys proved that electronic music can carry heart. Lenka’s debut showed simple hooks and sincerity of storytelling can make a song both deep and playful. All 3 are simply authentic.

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? “My favorite moments are when listeners try to guess the biblical story woven into a song. When they get it, it feels like we’re sharing the same spark of recognition, and it creates this unexpected connection between us.”
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? “Absolutely. We’ve got a whole new chapter coming—this time focused on the saints. If you enjoyed playing ‘Guess That Story’ with Light It Up, you’ll love trying to unravel the stories on the next album.”
