In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 9 years-old in 2002 after my third guitar lesson, I was able to play two chords. I remember playing these two chords while making up lyrics and recording it on my teacher's tape recorder. I was hooked and the rest is history.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? AC/DC, Back In Black Kygo, Cloud Nine Luke Bryan, Crash My Party Back in Black takes me back to learning how to the play guitar during my youth. Crash My Party is the first time I remember really emotionally connecting to a country album in its entirety. Cloud Nine is a masterpiece and why I fell in love with EDM.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Give Me Love” This song is entirely based on my independently released instrumental song "Better Days". Okafuwa absolutely loved it and wrote lyrics to it. "Give Me Love" is about grieving a past love which is what I always envisioned for "Better Days" lyrically.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In August 2022, I was contacted via Facebook by an established artist wanting to collaborate. This eventually lead to my first release on a record label in March 2023. Months of work went into "Give Me Love", and I'm excited for the world to hear it.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? On my bucket list as an artist, I would love to travel somewhere to collaborate on a song. My two dreams are to collaborate on a country song in Nashville and to travel to Los Angeles and/or somewhere in Europe to collaborate on an EDM song.
