In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 9 years old, I met the legendary Dick Van Dyke! We had fun as we battled out the lyrics to "Anything you can do, I can do better". 1 yr later, I did a duet with him of the song "Rosie" (he chose that song because my name is Rosevelt).
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fallin' In Love With Utah” This is the first song I ever wrote! I was singing in Bryce Canyon, UT for a summer residency with The Bryce Canyon Wranglers, and every day I lived there I just kept loving it more and more. It is an inspirational place!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first time I performed a solo was both scary and exciting. When I was 10 years old, I sang "A Million Dreams" at the Childhelp Gala in front of almost 1000 people. And we raised over 4 million dollars! I couldn't believe it!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have a long list of legendary singers I would love to duet with! Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton and Lauren Daigle are all at the top of the list. Garth Brooks and Dan + Shay are also on my list. Oh! And perform on the Grand Ol' Opry stage!
