In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad was a drummer and when I was 5, he would get my sisters and I to beat on the couch with drumsticks to Pink Floyd records. This is when my love for music began.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, For Emma, Forever Ago Coldplay, Parachutes John Mayer, Continuum Hard question! In no order, some personal favorites are: For Emma, Forever Ago; Parachutes; and Continuum. These records have picked me up on my worst days and shaped my best days as a songwriter and as a human being.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment was actually recent- I just went on my first tour opening for Matt Maeson. Because I was opening for a larger artist, I got to experience some really incredible venues and meet thousands of wildly amazing people.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? In the foreseeable future, I’d like to finish my first Steinza album. The idea of first album has always been a big deal in my mind.
