∙ Cruz won Best British Song honors at the 2004 BRIT Awards for cowriting Will Young’s UK Top 5 single “Your Game.”
∙ His gold-selling debut LP, 2008’s Departure, generated three UK Top 20 singles: “Come On Girl,” “I Can Be,” and “She’s Like A Star.”
