Matt Pryor had the world at his feet with his popular band, the Get Up Kids, and then brought it to another level with his next project, The New Amsterdams. The emo pioneer, however, found his priorities shifting again after becoming a father, and has since switched to home recording, such as on his solo album, CONFIDENCE MAN, and into music his kids will appreciate. The Terrible Twos is Pryor's and his New Amsterdams bandmates’ attempt to make childrens music that won’t drive adults up the wall, with clever, bouncy pop about animals, nutrition, and washing up, among other topics.
