Informacje o wykonawcy THIS2
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Preston: Mom and I would dance & sing along to "Love Story" in the kitchen for hours.
Evan: I'd invite every family on my block to my neighbor's house, and perform "Eye of the Tiger" & "Hungry like a Wolf" for 2 hours on the Rock Band 4 video game.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Jon Bellion, Glory Sound Prep
Noah Kahan, Stick Season (We'll All Be Here Forever)
Panic! At the Disco, Viva Las Vengeance
These 3 records are the definition of "musicality" and demonstrate a masterful understanding of composition, lyricism, and/or sonics. We can't get enough of them. Honorable mentions: "The Album", "The Human Condition", "Death of a Bachelor".
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Normal”
We wrote "normal" together during a very dark period before THIS2 was an official group and immediately knew it was special. We played it at every single show of ours. One day the head of a label heard it, and that's when we signed our first deal!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
There have been so many special moments, but one that sticks out in ours minds is touring with David Michael Frank. Soon after releasing our first songs, we played in Houston, our hometown Dallas, our second-home Nashville, and Chicago.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
There's a lot left. 2 of our biggest ones - win several Grammys & collaborate with Jon Bellion. Honorable mentions being headlining and selling out AT&T Stadium in our hometown. All of which, will happen.
