She fronted pop band SKIPIT and starred in The Voice Thailand. But BOWKYLION (real name Pichsinee Veerasuthimas) has unfolded more intriguing facets as a solo artist. Singing, composing and co-producing her own songs, she takes a hands-on approach to every aspect of her music as she glides across Thai pop, R&B and electro-pop. Her 2020 debut LP Lionheart shines with fizzy, synth-laden melodies peppered with jazz, hip-hop and funk nuances. BOWKYLION’s breathy, longing vocals also drive a string of mesmerising, mid-tempo love ballads that carry a fresh, creative flair.
