Lanberry, aka Małgorzata Uściłowska, pens Polish pop that is in equal parts accessible and enigmatic. Striking a winning balance between stylish electro, EDM and vintage synth-pop, she filled her self-titled debut LP with deliciously melodic, memorable choruses like club hit “Piątek”. Lanberry sharpened her songwriting chops on 2018’s versatile miXtura, which folds in alt-pop and disco funk elements, and was nominated for several Fryderyk awards.
