Since forming in the '90s, Manchester's Doves have won critical acclaim while having transitioned styles from Madchester dance with Britpop-inspired rock. Comprising twin brothers Jez and Andy Williams on guitar and drums, respectively, as well as long-time friend Jimi Goodwin on bass and guitar—all three share vocal duties—the band has released four albums, earned two Mercury Prize nominations and two No. 1 spots on the UK charts.
