But since then, they’ve fortified that scrappy style with more muscular moves: Where 2016’s You Are Going to Hate This bears the grimy fingerprints of producer/FIDLAR frontman Zac Carper, their 2018 Epitaph Records debut, Hypochondriac, veers toward crunchy, Weezer-esque power pop.
