Dominic Harrison is a one-man soundclash, pulling together elements of hip-hop, grime, and classic rock to make kinetic, raw pop songs that snarl and bite. He first came to prominence releasing rattling indie-rock songs as YUNGBLUD in 2017, his distinctive voice a combination of chewy Yorkshire vowels and Liam Gallagher swagger. The influence of rappers (both from the U.S. and U.K.) quickly became apparent over the course of subsequent releases, especially after his high-profile collaborations with Machine Gun Kelly (“I Think I’m OKAY”) and Halsey (“11 Minutes”).
