Like Detroit's storied rock ‘n' roll legends before them, We Came As Romans forge a modern Motor City racket with their unique brand of muscled-up, melodic metalcore. Since 2008's Dreams EP, the band has been perfecting a dramatic style that incites maximum screaming, headbanging, and moshing. Their self-titled 2015 album marked an evolution toward a more alternative rock sound, throwing some poppy hooks into the band's mix of sludgy guitar, chest-pounding drums, and throat-ripping vocals.
