Guided by fado influences as well as Amy Winehouse, artist Carolina Deslandes has carved a unique path as a pop singer-songwriter. After earning notice as a finalist in 2010 on Ídolos Portugal, she moved to London and wrote songs in English and Portuguese about home and motherhood.
