On their 2010 debut, J King (Jaime Bonilla) and Maximan (Héctor Padilla) portrayed themselves as young superheroes saving reggaetón from diluted fusion moves. The former Casa de Leones members remained true to reggaetón's urban and dancehall roots, with a salsa tinge all their own. They went on to add mambo, Brazilian batucada drumming, and a somewhat sunnier tropical vibe to their rough-and-ready mix on Los Sucesores, a bid to be bigger, better, and badder than their predecessors.
