When self-taught singer-songwriter Luma Elpidio first shared her music with the world, she knew creativity would be her way of seeking clarity. From tinkering on the guitar her grandmother gave her as a child to opting out of law school in 2014, she has always pursued her art with fierce intent. Born in Niterói, she has since travelled across Brazil to minister to those who listen to her lyrics in search of insight. Pairing her strong, soulful voice with minimalist instrumental backing, the CCM artist often finds the deepest reflection in the lilt of a simple rhythm.
