First playing guitar for Machine Head through most of the '90s and later producing brain-banging outfits like Five Finger Death Punch, Soulfly, and Fear Factory, Logan Mader has been a driving force behind contemporary groove metal. A wizard at applying musicality to extreme music, he's also lent a hand to such far-flung tech-death monsters as France's Gojira and Australia's own Psycroptic.
