AAA has found steady success from being unpredictable. The outfit (a.k.a. Attack All Around) gives each of its seven members time to shine on the mic—usually over the course of a single song. The performers trade vocal duties, quickly jumping from pop melody line back to rapping before the first chorus even hits. AAA's music is a whirlwind, zig-zagging from chugging guitar numbers to peppy synth-pop. In recent years the group has even incorporated heavier electronics and 8-bit sounds. Whatever the direction, the effect is sonically intriguing.
