Yousef Al Ayoub showed his gift for nasheed at a very young age. His warm, fluid vocals weave around resonant words of wisdom, inviting reflection and providing comfort in times of pain. With 2016 album Qalbi Lak—featuring beloved nasheed “Allah Allah”, as well as his own composition “Jahalt Oyoon”—he touched listeners across the Gulf and the Middle East. In 2018 its follow-up Aoud Eshteyaqn was released in both vocal and percussion editions, while a series of 2020 singles mixed atmospheric productions, built upon layers of vocalisation, alongside mellow Khaleeji-inflected rhythms.
