Melodically minded rapper Franglish began trading bars on the streets of Paris’ 20th arrondissement, where he caught the attention of the Brownie Dubz Gang collective. Hooked on flows by Bow Wow and Tyga, he stitched his own verses into a dynamic sound world that swings from shimmering trap hi-hats to Congolese rumba and sultry zouk-infused rhythms. A stream of mixtapes launched in 2013 before he dropped his first album, Monsieur, six years later.
