Anoh Jacob Biju—better known as the masked Anohnymouss—is the genre-hopping rapper-producer from Kerala who, since 2018, has crafted quirky flows and honed an enigmatic vocal style. Inspired by his mother, a singer who introduced him to church songs, Anohnymouss’ eclectic listening habits developed growing up in Saudi Arabia, leading to a blend of rap, hip-hop and experimental electronic music, all self-produced. There’s ecstasy but also restlessness and melancholy in his bars and productions, showcasing his status as a multifaceted artist and a darling of the Malayalam hip-hop scene.
