Mitch Zorn teases his first full-length project with “Home,” the heartfelt first single from the Nakusp, B.C., singer-songwriter’s forthcoming debut album, Back to You. Zorn tells Apple Music that he drew from life in his twenties while writing the song with co-writer Allie Sealey, reflecting on his time moving around while working in the oil and gas industry while also pursuing a career in music. “I moved down to Texas in 2018 for a job and ended up living there for a few years,” he adds. “I was on a rotation that allowed me to spend most of my time off in Nashville writing songs and cutting my teeth in the business, and this was one of the tunes that came out of it.” Zorn plans to release Back to You later this year.
