But on Blank Blank, his husky, run-on-sentence flow is a force to be reckoned with, and his street tales are peppered with funny asides—on the title track, he recalls getting accidentally arrested for forgetfully showing up to the airport with a gun. “Beeper” in particular is a standout, as DaBaby barrels through a heavy-hitting trap beat with Olympic-level agility, then laughs it off like it was light work.
