Composer Deepak Dev digs into the cheery strums of acoustic folk instruments for the family drama Bro Daddy, the second directorial venture by actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. “Parayathe Vannen” finds M. G. Sreekumar and Vineeth Sreenivasan singing in a breezy manner. Lead actors Mohanlal and Sukumaran add warmth on the roomy folk song “Vannu Pokum”, while “Kaana Kuyile” is a lively and lilting romantic duet. For the centrepiece, “Theme of Bro Daddy”, Anand Sreeraj captures the essence of a playful family dynamic in sound.
