The French ensemble Les Paladins specializes in Baroque-era opera and vocal music, often reviving forgotten repertory. The group has also performed music as late as the 1840s. Les Paladins was formed in 2001 by baritone singer and conductor Jérôme Correas, who often performs with the group as well as conducting and who has remained in his leadership role as of the mid-2020s. The group took its name from Jean-Philippe Rameau's opera Les Paladins (1760). Les Paladins are known for impressive stage shows in which the group collaborates with other artists and seeks modes of expression original to the music it performs. It has made some 15 recordings, backing soprano Karine Deshayes on her 2023 recording of Mozart's motet Exsultate, jubilate, K. 165, and Lucrezia (2024), on which various singers performed French Baroque works about the titular figure from Roman history.
