1.Kla$ is considered one of the forefathers of Russian-language battle rap. The German-based rapper is notorious for his flagrantly offensive lyrics and reckless attitude, as well as his inventive, dexterous rhyming skills. First appearing as part of the duo Divers with fellow emcee Czar, 1.Kla$ made his solo debut with the 2004 album Sukiny Deti (Sons of Bitches), followed by further collaborations with Czar and releases such as 2009's $ieg Kla$. Though he largely retired from music soon afterward, he received renewed attention during the 2020s, when the title track to his debut album went viral, and he was featured on Oxxxymiron's 2023 track "1.Kla$, Pt. 2." Unreleased was issued that year, and additional singles followed in 2024.
