Louisiana rapper Big Fella Zil scored a regional hit with his capricious and catchy 2018 track "Workin' My Shoulders." National attention soon followed when fans began sharing their own dance videos soundtracked by the song.
Big Fella Zil was born Zildjian Barton and came up in the Shreveport, Louisiana rap scene. He began releasing music online around 2015, beginning with some spare tracks and lengthy DJ mixes. His infectious single "Workin' My Shoulders" was the first to gain traction and he followed it up with multiple tracks in the same club-ready vein. Singles like "Driving," "Twerk Sum," and "Cut Up Bad" were released in 2019 and the next year he offered up new tracks "Ketchup" and "Power Up," the latter of which featured Dreadhead Dev. ~ Fred Thomas
