Sobre Casiokids
Founded in 2005 in Bergen, Norway, Casiokids cited influences that included New Order, Paul Simon (Graceland in particular), Fela Kuti, King Tubby, Cornelius, Gorillaz, and Liquid Liquid. They made their full-length album debut in 2006 with Fück Midi. A series of singles on Moshi Moshi during the late 2000s garnered initial critical acclaim for the group, particularly in the U.K. The singles included "Grønt Lys I Alle Ledd" b/w "Togens Hule" (2008), "Finn Bikkjen!" b/w "Gomurmamma" (2009), and "Verdens Störste Land" b/w "Fot I Hose" (2009). The group returned with the album Topp Stemning På Lokal Bar in 2010. ~ Jason Birchmeier
