In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad used to be in a Country Rock band so growing up my siblings and I would road trip around the North Island competing in Country Music competitions. We'd get all our outfits ready and even go busking together at the markets!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Mahalia, Terms and Conditions - Single Olivia Dean, Messy Rei, Toitū - Single My favourites constantly change but at the moment I'm loving Mahalia's style of writing and RnB elements, Rei from Aotearoa (NZ) is a good friend who I'm hugely inspired by, his music speaks for itself & Olivia Dean is just simply magical.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Quite Like You” After a 3 year hiatus & being on the edge of giving up music, I wrote this song & felt a huge shift in the way I now write - honest & vulnerable, it's healing. I didn't realise how many people would relate to it and that's been incredibly special.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Hearing my songs play on the radio - I don't think I will ever get used to the feeling! It's surreal and absolutely incredible. The joy & overwhelming sense of excitement is just the best!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would truly love to tour internationally. Performing overseas is up there on the list!
