Sobre Devan
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Sitting in my aunts house at 7 years old, falling in love with the upright piano in her dining room, teaching myself to play any and everything I heard on the radio by ear.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Kanye West, The College Dropout
Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly
Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life
These albums are the foundations of everything I do musically. The rhythmic side of Kanye's sample chops, the melodies of Stevie Wonder and the fullness of Kendrick Lamar's album, come together as one
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Cousteau”
Jacques Cousteau is just the coolest man to ever exist first and foremost. This song is so special because it was the beginning of people taking me seriously as an artist.
