Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The way harmonies created an otherworldly sound had a profound effect on me. When I was young the car tape deck gave me a way of escaping the reality of a traumatic childhood.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? DMA'S, The Glow Doves, Lost Souls Echo & The Bunnymen, Songs to Learn and Sing Massive Doves fans! Lost Souls... greatest comeback ever. Perfect playlist of their trials. The Songs to Learn and Sing comp by Echo & The Bunnymen, just perfect! Still can't get enough of DMA's, The Glow Lp. Their change up here is inspired.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Pray (Demo)” This song seems to encapsulate the band defining our early sound. A very honest and revealing lyric as I was finding my feet and it always takes me back to the time I wrote it. It says what I needed to hear. I always talk to myself in songs.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting our new album back from mastering and listening to 1st time it was KILLER, but I'll always remember recording Jonny's guitar parts outside, throwing super tone down the valley and getting txts from farmers more than a km away saying YEAH!!!!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I wanna get on some festival stages, throw down some of our epic tunes in front of festival sized crowds and get ourselves in front of audiences in the UK , Europe and the US. Our songs are made for it!
