In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up listening to my mother playing piano. It inspired me to want to create my own musical pieces and soon after I started with production.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Die Heuwels Fantasties, Alles Wat Mal Is Glaskas, Verganklik & Afhanklik John Mayer, Continuum These albums were on repeat through my high school years. They really shaped me and my taste in music. They inspired me to want to make music that did the same for others.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Smile Nou Huil Later” It was the first song I made where I really tried to push the boundaries of my style and the result received very well by the public.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening my own studio and being able to do this full time.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Doing a few big shows. Touring The Netherlands. Charting in South Africa.
