Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember watching a saxophone player play in my high school band, before I was involved with music. I was mesmerized. Right there and then, I knew I wanted to play saxophone!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Glenn Gould, Glenn Gould: A State of Wonder - The Complete Goldberg Variations (1955 & 1981) Sonny Rollins, Sonny Rollins Trio, St. Thomas 1959 I love Sonny and memorized his solo on "There Will Never Be Another You" a long time ago. I am not sure saxophone can ever be played better. I grew up listening to Gould's 1981 Goldberg. The first track of the Ray Charles/Betty Carter album kills me!

I'm glad we were able to get this sound and feel in the studio. I've had this band, with Ben Monder, Joe Martin and Ted Poor, for twenty years now.
