During college, contemporary Christian singer Jennifer Judy “JJ” Heller played coffee shops in a band that included her future husband and songwriting partner, Dave Heller.
∙ Her first hit, 2009’s “Your Hands,” rose to No. 13 on Billboard’s Christian Songs chart, where it spent a total of 24 weeks.
∙ On Season Six of So You Think You Can Dance, contestant Diana Drexler chose “Your Hands” during a successful audition that paid tribute to her recently deceased grandfather.
∙ The video for 2010’s “What Love Really Means,” which featured an in-studio performance, is Heller's most popular clip, with close to 8 million views.
∙ Starting in 2017, she has released a new streaming single on the first Friday of every month.
∙ In 2020, she began hosting Instrumental with JJ Heller, an inspirational podcast that’s featured chats with such fellow CCM stars Michael W. Smith, Ryan Stevenson, and Sara Groves.
