Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I got on stage with my cousin Kip Calahan when I was only three years old. I sang "Tennessee Waltz," and I've been hooked on the rush of a live performance since then. I told my mom, "I was singing so loud, I didn't even need the microphone!" Ha!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brandy Clark, 12 Stories Miranda Lambert, The Weight of These Wings Wade Bowen, Live At Billy Bob's Texas: Wade Bowen Live These albums are examples of three incredible songwriters, storytellers, singers, and live performers. These artists in particular are a big reason that I play music, write songs for a living, and make albums. I admire the records in their entirety.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Trenches” I wrote this song during the pandemic, when my boyfriend and I were experiencing terrifying and trying times (we are both musicians). I kept yelling, "honey, we're in the Trenches!" I finally sat down and wrote this about true love and perseverance.
