In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I saw my first real rock show at the city rec center. It was a heavy metal band with a guitarist that years later would join the band No Doubt. Years after that, my band would open for No Doubt and Gwen Stefani would sing guest vocals on our album.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Son Volt, Trace (Remastered) Swervedriver, Raise R.E.M. freed me from being a teenage metalhead. I first heard Swervedriver on college radio in the early 90s. They were the coolest band in the world. I used to punish my punk bandmates with Son Volt in the van on tour. They all came around.
