Formed in 2010 around the talents of Matt Laurent, Martin Héon, Sebastien "Watty" Langlois, Greg Morency, and Christian-Marc Gendron, Montreal-based ukulele ensemble Lucky Uke specializes in all-ukulele covers of pop hits from the 80's, with an emphasis on hair metal classics like "Sweet Child 'o' Mine" and "The Final Countdown." They released their eponymous debut album in 2010, followed in 2012 by Sunburn. ~ James Christopher Monger
