Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Night Train by the Oscar Peterson trio was my first introduction to jazz. A real mind-blowing album. Perfection in its purest form!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jimmy Smith, Live At The Club Baby Grand, Vol. 1-2 (Groovin' At Smalls' Paradise) Miles Davis, My Funny Valentine: In Concert (Live) Oscar Peterson, Night Train The most happening rythm section playing on three different albums, in three very different styles. Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, Tony Williams with Miles and George Coleman. Simply incredible. Oscar Peterson, Ray Brown and Ed Thigpen; Pure Mastery.
