∙ Both 1965’s Jovem Guarda (Remasterizado) and his 1971 self-titled album were inducted into the Latin Grammy Hall Of Fame.
∙ He’s had three songs reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Tracks chart, including 1988’s “Se o Amor Se Vai (Si El Amor Se Va),” which was cowritten by noted producer Rudy Pérez.
∙ Carlos received a Best Latin Pop Performance Grammy Award for Roberto Carlos 1988, which also topped Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums chart.
∙ He’s won multiple Latin Grammys, including the 2004 Lifetime Achievement Award that honored his career progression from ’60s pop-rock icon to earnest romantic balladeer.
∙ In 2015, Carlos was the Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year and also received the Billboard Latin Music Lifetime Achievement Award.
