Rosie Lowe is a singer and songwriter whose mostly downbeat material draws from R&B as much as contemporary electronic music. Born in Exeter, she had an unconventional upbringing, raised in a wooden house built by her father that didn't contain a television. She studied at Goldsmiths, where she took a course in popular music and taught herself how to use production software. In 2013, Lowe provided the vocals for Lil Silva's "No Doubt" and released the Right Thing EP on 37 Adventures. She then moved to Paul Epworth's Polydor-supported Wolf Tone and, during 2014 and 2015, knocked out a handful of singles highlighted by the Machinedrum-produced "Worry Bout Us." Control, Lowe's debut album, was released in 2016. ~ Andy Kellman
