In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a young child I had an overactive imagination. Leaving music on at night is what stimulated my mind and changed my dark visions into positive experiences. This is what inspired my artist name Sandman Theory.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Black Pumas, Black Pumas Faithless, All Blessed Kruder & Dorfmeister, The K&D Sessions (25th Anniversary Edition) The K&D Sessions is a brilliant, melding multiple genres together into a dub inspired tapestry. All Blessed by Faithless is an incredible melodic dance record with a deep message. Black Pumas first album is soul + electric blues perfected.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Blues in My Blood” "Blues in My Blood" was a genre-bending experiment between myself and Nick Mardon combining electronica and electric blues. We had a blast recording it and I believe the silly, fun experience in my studio really shined through in the final tune.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had the opportunity to be the opening DJ for Armin van Buuren when he visited Seattle for the first time in 2005. He was voted #1 DJ in the world at the time. The night was electric! What made the night even better was his kindness.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I 2022 I built a recording studio, The Fuzzy Lounge, in Seattle. It kicked off an era of music collaboration in a very inspiring space full of analog electronic machines. I am very excited to share these special music creations with the world.
