In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At 13, my older brother came home one day with a tape of gospel vocal band, Acappella. He pressed play, and I went completely bananas. That was the beginning . I had never sang or been interest in music before that, so this is my origin story.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Acappella, The Collection KB, His Glory Alone Owl City, Ocean Eyes Acappella is what started it for me and got me into music. Owl City's Ocean Eyes captivated me with the beautiful poetry, perfect diction, his big and epic drum, orchestral and piano sounds. KB's His Glory Alone saved my life; plus I love Hip Hop.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Done” It perfectly embodies all the elements that make up the core of my musical identity. The lyrics are a blend of English and my native tribal language, Tonga, delivering a redemptive message. The sound combines pop, trap and native sounds of my tribe.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I released Niza Konka, my first single to go out on streaming platforms in 2020
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To release 6 albums, four which will be part of what I call the "Rise Of The Blake Effect" tetralogy, one love songs album and one acapella album called " Purpose vocalized". Then do as many live events as I can to connect with my fans in person
