Sobre Tinlicker
Drawing on themes of space and time, the Dutch DJ and production duo Tinlicker are key players in the European progressive house scene.
• Jordi van Achthoven and Micha Heyboer hail from the Dutch city of Utrecht.
• Prior to Tinlicker, Heyboer was a member of the popular drum ’n’ bass group Black Sun Empire. Van Achtoven had been releasing dance music since the early 2000s with various projects.
• Electronic juggernaut Jon Gooch, known musically as Feed Me, took instant interest in Tinlicker. In 2014, he helped the twosome achieve niche recognition by releasing their Like No Other EP on his Sotto Voce label.
• Tinlicker have released music via some of the most important labels in dance music, including deadmau5’s mau5trap, Armin van Buuren’s Armada, and Above & Beyond’s Anjunadeep.
• Their 2019 debut album, This Is Not Our Universe, includes an official remix of the British indie-rock band alt-j’s 2012 hit “Breezeblocks.”
