Rapper Tsu Surf is primarily known as a battle rapper, but he’s gained crossover notoriety with a string of mixtapes marked by gritty rhymes and hard production.
• Repping Newark, New Jersey, Tsu Surf carries on the proud East Coast sound of Jadakiss, Nas, and JAY-Z.
• But he’s not anti-West Coast. His 2019 album Blood Cuzzins is a joint project with rising Bay Area rapper Mozzy.
