In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up, my dad played a lot of blues around the house plus being in a church environment I was surrounded by a lot of music. My first personal contact with music was when I had this MP3 player and all I listened to on it was Micheal Jackson.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? J. Cole, 2014 Forest Hills Drive Kanye West, The Life of Pablo Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe Version) Kanye West, J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar are arguably my top 3 favourites. These albums are my go-to when I want to enjoy a full length project, it never goes wrong, especially the fact I can listen to every track without having to skip a single track.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Steady Moving” For the longest time I have been exploring different genres and trying out different sounds, but with this song I felt like I found my comfort zone, I was able to offload on this chilled beat and pass across a strong message.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I'd say my first performance in the UK. Being from, Nigeria I always felt my sound was a bit more international and I had a lot of people trying to convince me to switch my style to appeal to the Nigerian audience. Was good to see the crowd thrilled.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A lot actually lol!! A world tour, collaborate with amazing artists that inspire me, put myself in a position where I can help other artists, I'd say awards as well, but that's not a priority for me, just feel it would be nice to be acknowledged.
